A wide range of other support groups help extend Orthopaedic Hospital's mission and community commitment, including:
Searchlighters
Founded in 1963, the Searchlighters emphasize support for research and education by providing funds to purchase sophisticated research and communication equipment. Members live throughout the Los Angeles area, and meetings are held monthly in members' homes, with two meetings a year held at the Hospital.
Las Angelinas
Founded in 1948, Las Angelinas has provided funds for physical therapy equipment and care for children. Members live throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, and monthly meetings are held in members' homes.
The Children's Service League
The Children's Service League has a long history of serving and sharing. Since 1949, their philanthropy has generously supported the Brace Fund at Orthopaedic Hospital, having raised more than $750,000 to help children at Orthopaedic Hospital receive much-needed braces and prosthetic devices. Members live throughout the Los Angeles area and hold their monthly meetings at Orthopaedic Hospital. Members also volunteer in the Hospital.
