Manual Therapy
The staff utilizes techniques to improve joint, soft tissue and neural mobility to allow for normal movement through muscle balance and normal joint motion.
Patient Education
Patient education is a critical element in the treatment program. The therapists will provide the
patient with the information required to prevent, correct and minimize injuries. Each patient's dysfunction and treatment is explained and discussed. A Home Exercise Program is given to every patient to help in preventing further injury or re-injury. The Home Exercise Program is essential for patients to make prolonged sustainable improvement.
Posture and Biomechanics Training
The Physical Therapists provides instruction in good neutral posture and proper static and dynamic body mechanics which are essential to pain-free, normal function.
Work Hardening
Patients are seen in group sessions or on an individual basis. These sessions involve exercises simulating work loads found in the work environment. Isokinetic equipment (i.e. BTE) is used to objectively measure improvements.
Aquatic Therapy (under construction)
This therapy is conducted in a gravity reduced environment. This enables patients to work on increasing joint mobility, strength and endurance more aggressively and with a greater sense of success.
