Children with fractures can be evaluated and treated by an orthopaedic specialist and emergency medicine physician at the Orthopaedic Medical Center Urgent Care. The Urgent Care is adjacent to the Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center, on the downtown Los Angeles campus.

Urgent Care Hours: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily
Orthopaedic Resident Hours: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday - Friday, and limited hours on the weekends

If your child has a broken bone (fracture), it is advisable to seek care as quickly as possible.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED FOR TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH RECENT/NEW FRACTURES.

After fracture treatment, children (under 18 years of age) receive their on-going, follow-up care in the Children's Fracture Clinic in the Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center. The Outpatient Medical Center is across from the Urgent Care Center.

The time of the day with the shortest wait period for parents to bring their child into the Urgent Care is between 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
