Mickie Faris joined Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital in January 2010 as the Vice President of Advancement. Ms. Faris manages the Advancement Department and Foundation Office and is responsible for growing fundraising revenue from all sources. During her 30 year career in fundraising and nonprofit management, she has improved internal management and fundraising systems and has developed an array of fundraising programs.

Ms. Faris holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, a Master of Public Health degree from the School of Public Health at California State University at Northridge, and is a Certified Fundraising Executive. Additionally, she has been a member of the faculty of UCLA Extension for six years and teaches a course on fundraising.
