Dennis Strum, Ph.D., Acting Chief Operating Officer for Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital and President of The Strum Group, has over thirty years of experience in health system development, corporate strategy, marketing, governance effectiveness and business development. His broad knowledge of managed care, academic medical centers, health care financing and delivery, is a result of his extensive experience in working with some of the largest regional health care systems in California and having served as a member of Boards of Directors for a variety of health plans, hospitals and medical groups.

Dr. Strum received his Ph.D. in Public Health/Health Services management from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also earned an M.P.H. in Health Services Management. Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree in Speech and Communications from the University of Michigan.
